DePaul's Housing Office has limited numbers of dormitory rooms available during the school year (September to June). Contact them directly for more information on price, location and availability.

Off-Campus Housing

Many ELA students find apartments in Chicago within 45 minutes of our campus or use of one the services listed below. Our Loop Campus location is located very close to excellent public transportation.

Cost

Monthly rent for an apartment in Chicago ranges from $500.00 to $1,500.00/month depending on the location and size.

Homestay

Homestay accommodations give you a room in a private house, living with a local host family. Usually you receive two meals per day, often one sitting down with the host family. Herman Crown Center

This residence hall is part of Roosevelt University and it is one block from DePaul University’s Loop campus where Academy students have their classes. Contact the Center for an application and other information about housing. A meal plan is available.
